New DRPA owner nearing meltdown

Greetings all. I want to say THANKS for this forum and the opportunity to gain knowledge and ask questions!!

I have just purchased my DRPA after 2 years of operating without anything like it. I am a mobile DJ and after attempting to take in all the info I can about this unit I am starting to think I may have more than I can handle. I am NOT a sound engineer by any means. I do know that I need this thing to run in the 2x6 crossover mode with it running one pair of subs and two pair of full range tops. My head begins to spin when I read how to dial in my amps gain structure properly! Im used to running them wide open. Im assuming this will be a problem if I cant figure out the procedure? I really only got this unit to simplify my crossover set up and to repace my DBX2215 which kept frying out on me. I clearly have more than I bargained for.

I have an event next weekend and at this point, Im concerned that I cant get this thing up and running in time...which will ruin me. Here is what I have for a system: One pair JBL JRX 125 (full range)
One pair EV Elim.II (full range)
One pair EV Force 18\" subs and one pair of generic dual 18\"
subs (used for bigger events only)
2 QSC PLX 3002s (1 each for the tops)
1 QSC PLX 3402 (for the subs)

I do not have the RTA mic at this point (do I really need it?). Im hoping to be able to use the most basic functions of this unit only in time for my gig in 7 days. If its not too much to ask...can someone walk me through a basic setup...or am I totally in over my head? Im most concerned about the gain structure and running those amps wide open. Any help will be appreciated.

    Welcome, Read this http://www.dbxpro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=959

Then read every post in the READ ME FIRST section.

Then if you still need clarification post back.

Don't worry, we'll get you through this. It's not as bad as it seems.

You say that you want to use a 2 X 6 config. Can you be more component specific in what you are wanting to do? You have 2 sets of tops and 2 sets of subs.

Hey Dra, thanks for the reply! I do have 2 sets of subs but they are never in use at the same time. I have the EVs for smaller events and the dual 18s for the bigger stuff. One amp dedicated for one pair of speakers only at any given time.

Have you read the stuff I suggested? Do you have follow-ups yet?
There are three things you need to be concerned with:
    1) Gain Structure
    2) Limiter setting for speaker protection. (do not use compression)
    3) Crossover setting

What do you mean you can't download the pink sample?

What about the Bink Audio CD:

Why can you NOT download the sample?
