Hello folks,
I am running a fully powered system for my band.
A & H Mixwizard 16:2 to the DriverackPA in a 2 x 4 config, the speakers are 2 NX55P and 2 LS-720P. I am very pleased with the sound quality of the speakers. I was just wondering if any of you in Driverack land have any settings to share. The only parameters I have set so far is the crossover, which is at 100Hz and the gain structure.
Thanks
S

What I was looking for in this post was mostly crossover gain settings and slopes...
And if someone had any settings for these speakers using the driverackPA!
If I understand your comments, the Yorks have all the tunings built in and I should just use the internal crossovers in the subs and go without the DriverackPA?
Thanks
On the sub set the input to -0-. Set the filter to 150hz.
On the 55P set the input to -0-. Set the mixer to OFF. Set the rolloff filter to 60hz (out).
Set up the DRPA as a 2x3 or 2x4 (your choice).
Set the EQ to stereo linked.
Speakers as \"Custom - passive\".
Sub as \"Custom\".
All amps to \"Custom\".
Enter X-over and set up
subs 45hz BW 18 & 100hz LR 24
tops 100hz LR 24
Does that help?
I have a 250P and a 25P that I use for monitors and they sound really nice even without the processing and the power of the 55P. I would consider and even trade if you wish.

Is you crossover gains set the same for you tops and subs? Do you use the default 0db?
All this info and more are in the FAQ section. Go there and read you'll see plenty of things the DRPA can do for you.

Choco, Yes, to start with, set the x-over gains to -0- as well. Though, if one cab (tops or subs) is over powering the other it would be better to adjust the input levels on the cab. If one goes into limiting, turn the other one up. PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!
