Set up HELP (Crossover)

NightriderNightrider Posts: 17
First of all I will apologize if I posted in the wrong section. So I am i need of a Crossover I was hoping I could receive some suggestions on what crossover to get and the set up. So I have 2 Yorkville YX15's and 1 Yorkville YX18S A QSC RMX 1850HD that I run the 15's with and a QSC RMX 850 to run the 18 Sub. So what you recommend I get? Would I need something for the whole system or just the sub. I am thinking for the whole system for the sound quality but I need some help. Thanks

    Well,
A bit more info would be nice, the DRPA would do all right, the 260 would be much better, but depending on application, if just for a DJ / Karaoke setup... the DRPA would be sufficient.

Dra, Kevin, and myself are pretty much here all the time. We try and make sure that the forum is covered 24-7. As for the system and usage, if you can spare the extra $200 the 260 will clean your house, do the dishes, walk the dog, and see to it that security is no longer a problem in your neighborhood...
Seriously though, buy once cry once is a viable metafore here...especially if you do live sound and aspire to do more...

Read the FAQ \"read me first \" posts at the top of the forum and you will get tons of good info to start with...

If you get the DR260 you will never regret it... If you get the DRPA you may wish that you had spent the extra bucks...:)

The DRPA is a good piece of gear, but there will be times that you will say, \"I wish the DRPA couild do this or that.\" Well the 260 can. It may be in the link that Gadget referred to, but below is a DRPA / 260 comparison that lays out the differences.

    Hello Nightrider,

You have made a very wise decision and you won't regret it... I would go ahead and download the DriveWare GUI and start experimenting with it on your PC... Please post back if you need any help...
