So was that an authenticate-able one off lab sheet that shows the properties of THAT specific mic? Or, more likely, a rubber stamp test that was a \"one off\" or \"best of batch\" scenario...I wouldn't put too much credence in a spec sheet that wasn't an actual lab measurement ...

Just the curmudgeon in me I guess... :?

Well.....I still have the mic in my hand (that's a bit of a open ended statement  ).....so i rekon it's a rubber stamp job eh.
In your experience G, is the variabilty between RTA-M's something I should be greatly concerned about? If so, maybe I'll get it tested.

I'm not the one that did the testing to determine the disparities.. but yes I believe if it isn't tested it isn't much good for critical evaluation...Now RTA based measurement isn't that critical...

Please note that this mic is specifically designed to do the \"Outdoor\" method. Hence, the green curve.

No, It's an Australian mike, note the savanna and then the hills.

Kinda like JBL, there second to none...

I liked the monkeyboy comments as well...

    Be well  ...

    Hi Guys,

    New here... Hello!

Just trying to figure out the diaphram size of the RTA-M. I think its 1/4\" but want to make sure. I need it to fit into a specific RTA Calibrator.

    Thanks

    Hi,
The diaphram is .5 cm, the tip of the mic is 1.1cm.
