Yes it would work but the boys will probably say

\"spend some extra bucks and get the DR 260\"

    \"it is soooo much better\"

    Mark

P.S. One draw back with the 260 is that is a bit harder to learn

Thanks Fanman20, but the 260 is actually quite a bit EASIER to use thanks in no small part to the GUI which allows setup via a computer where you have graphic visuals of what the module is and what it's doing...Yes it's more complex, and has a lot more to it, but the differences are far more than that.

Certainly it would work for you.. and quite well I might add... If you want to run Mono you could even control the PA AND the monitors which you could not with the DRPA.

To confirm... the 260 is actually MUCH easier IF you use the GUI. I'd advise downloading the software and playing with it.
To answer your original question...Yes, either will work with your gear. Read all you can on this and the former forum lin above. Talk to someone in your area that has one.

  • It didn't take much to convert me to the 260........I've installed a couple of DRPA's in fixed instalations & use the 260's for touring/hire......do I hear an echo............The 260 is sooooooo much better!
  • Thanks four you help and time.

So it's ok if i use the marathon amp to power the 4 jbl's in parallel mode

and use the qsc amp to power my subs using the amp in bridge mode

I go too use the PA dbx unit

    Thanks again

I'll assume that the amps will handle the load of the speakers in the chosen mode. As far as the DRPA goes, it does care what you hook up to it.
