DBX234 crossover - suitable for magnepan, or go driverack?

Hi-
I am planning to biamp my magnepan 1.6 and integrate my sub. Is the DBX234 an \"audiophile\" solution to resolve the crossover and gain? or is the driverack pa/260 recommended?

PS - why is there no forum for the XOs? thanks

    XO's.. analog ones are a thing of the past...Digital loudspeaker management systems are the in thing, and wave of the future... whats to wonder about dedicated analog crossover except what crossover point do I use?

    For audiophile applications I would not even LOOK at anything below the 260...analog crossovers are.. well... even the BSS is well.. bs..

    You will never get the sound quality you need with less than a 260 or higher... the 4800 is also THAT much better than the 260, and XTA and XILICA are also top notch Loudspeaker management devices... so just bite the bullet and get the good stuff right off the bat
