Carnt get mic loud enough

djstevieddjstevied Posts: 8
Hey guys. Just had are sound system upgraded at work and now we have a Zone Pro 1261. I have tweaked the sound system a bit as the sound company didnt do much off a good job.
The problem i have is i carnt get my mic loud enough. When i talk it sounds really quiet but the music is blasting out. The limiter isnt set that high so it shouldn compress at low volumes.
There is a mic filter set to it to stop feedback but dont no much about that and when i turn it off it didnt make much dif.
Im a bit off a novice so i hope someone can pls help me.

Cheers
steve

Yeh, pretty quiet most of the time. Just a small handfull that hang around, helping people as best we can. You may need to contact tech support for \"installed system\" problems. There is a similar post about a zone pro set-up in the last week, I think. See if you can find it.

Here it is, but I don't think it will help. His was an over-all volume problem.

Sounds to me like a PRE driverack problem...the driverack doesn't have mic pre's and line inputs ... and if someone did use the XLR inputs as mic inputs you would have some level discrepancies... What is before the driverack in the signal chain? I assume some sort of mixer.. That is where you adjust the line and mic levels to match...
