Hey guys. Could anyone please post a site or forum where I can read up and understand PEQ a little better. Thanks alot
By the way Dra, I appreciate your kindness in letting me come hear the E12's. Going to Chatt. pretty soon to hear some more but the Yorkville's are in out in front right now.. It's people like you that make this forum what it is. Gary and Fanman I appreciate your inputs and help as well. Great Forum.

Hmmm. On the one hand I have to assume that you are a novice to the \"computer\" age...and that you have never heard of google...The reason I say this is I typed in \"parametric Equalization\" in the search window and got.....287,000 hits...
This was the first that wasn't \"wikipedia...

    http://www.ethanwiner.com/equalizers.html

    and it's a good one...

here is George Massenbrug... luminary in the field of audio engineering...and original designer of the PEQ...

    http://www.massenburg.com/cgi-bin/ml/pa ... d=AWGaSqKe

    and so on...

On the other hand I provided links in the \"Read me first before posting\" section to RANE:

    http://www.rane.com/par-p.html

    http://www.harmony-central.com/Effects/ ... alization/

and a simple \"key word search\" here will give you plenty of reading...

I say this not to chastise you for not making the effort, but so that the next time you have a general audio question (or something about nearly anything you can imagine....) you can find it on the net...

    Happy reading...

  • To be honest with you I didnt even think about typing in \"Parametric Equalization\". I typed in PEQ,sound, EQ. lol.. Do that and see how many you get. I read the \"read me first\" section. Thats why I typed in \"A BETTER understanding\". But thanks again.
