I am currently using active PR 15's in my set up for the smaller venues with 2 B 52 \"18 folded subs. I have the crossover settings set from the wizard for the PR15 preset thats in the DRPA memory.
The sound right now is really good, however I'm curious.....is there a difference if the speaker is active or passive in setting the crossover for the same speaker model?
Any tweaks that can improve the sound.....I'm in!!
Thanks in advance!!!

No, not really...unless you have more passive power. The big difference would come if you had sufficient delay to back the tops up to the subs... but alas the DRPA dose not have much delay...

    Just out of curiosity, I checked the 260's rec for the PR15 with subs and it varied alot. W/ the PR sub = 140hz. W/ a custom sub = 99hz. W/ M-PRO 418 = 121hz.

Where is yours? Raising the point gives more headroom, but puts trash in the subs. Nothing wrong with playing a bit.
