Driverack 260 $700

I went in to my local GC shop and I tell my long time sales guy I wished I would have bought the Driverack 260, before I bought the PA as the 260 has so much more for only a cost of $200 more. He tells me no the PA is $500 and the 260 is $1,000.00. So I said no (thinking of all of the posts I have read here about being able to get a 260 for $700 and everyone saying it's so much better for only $200 more) you can definitely get it for $700. He tells me that if I can find a 260 for $700 (thats not on Ebay) he will voluntarily take back my PA that is long past the store return period, and sell me a 260 for $200.00 more. So we run over to his trusty in store PC and begin a long and lasting search on-line, and the cheapest we could find it was $850.00, 90% of the units were $900+. Where on God's green earth is this 260 listed for $700.00 and again he won't do it if it's E-bay or any service like E-bay??
