Hey guys urgently need some help
I am running 2 mrx 525 and 2 mrx 528s subs
tops on a crown xti 4000 and bins in stereo on the new xls 5000 2x1800watts
with the drive rack pa!!!
there is no amp settins for the xls5000
so i need to do a custom amp!?!
any tips on crossover points delay settings limiter settings needed asap
The system is used for my cover band and i need to get the best from it possible, at the moment i seem to have to drive the desk very hard to get enough gain in the kick drum and lead vocals
thanks very much
George

Where we discuss all the cool tricks we have found about the Driverack and livesound...
you don't have to read it all , but for instance if you HAD read the FAQ\"s you'd know that the GAIN structure will set the amps sensitivity and that if you NEED to use the sensitivity for piece of mind you'll need to use the crossover gains on the Driverack for the gain structure and you may be introducing additional noise into the system...
After you do the gain structure, you will have much more headroom, and the system will all be on the same page... In the interest of a quick start... AFTER the gain structure..
HPF 40 hz BW18
LPF 110 hz LR24
HPF 110 hz LR 24 tops...a few hz spread in the crossover region could help with distortion and cancellations in the crossover region...Delay tops 7.5-10 ms
If you have the measurement mic do a close proximity indoor auto EQ to a flat preset...
