I just purchased the PX and used it at a gig for the first time this past weekend. I got pass through the balancing of the speakers (turned up the setting of my speaker to MY desired level), went through the Auto-EQ (which took a long time so I opted to cancel it by depressing the RTA button)

The tricky part which I didn't understand is the AFS wizard feature. When is says to \"create\" feedback, do I turn on my microphone bring up the mic pot to my desired level and then wave it in front of the speaker? It says to NOT speak into the microphone. And if that's not the proper way to do it, what do I do to complete this process so I can get it going?

I followed all the instructions in the quick guide and that's where I got stuck because the screen didn't display to proper end page.

Your advice is much appreciated!

  • Thanks! The info was really helpful. I'll play with the PX tonight and see if it works.

I'm running a pair of Mackie SRM-450's and it said as an option that I can adjust the volume level to my preference instead of setting it at the point the PX asks for.

What other information do you need from me?
