1)I have JRX dual cab speakers, and a crown xls 602 will this work with two speakers? the outputs on the drpa are high med and low, how would you connect with two full range speakers?

2)Use for dj, will the drpa really make a difference sound wise?
3)to those of you who own it, is it worth it??

As you follow the step in the system set-up wizard, you'll ID it as full range. You'll be able to set up a Hi Pass Filter, which will greatly help your sound and protect your speakers. Add in the limiters, fine tuning the speaker with the PEQs and a very clean, but a little difficult to use GEQ, and you're on your way. However, you MUST buy a UPS battery backup to prevent power loss pops. How much are you spending on the DRPA?

  • saw one on ebay for 500.00
  • why a UPS tho? if the power goes out wouldnt the amp shut off too thus powering down the speakers?

$500 dollars may be a bit high, keep looking. CALL Full Compass for a price. You can get a 260 for about $700. If you are willing to pay $500 for a DRPA, spend the extra $200. You'll be glad you did.

UPS - The amps have huge capacitors in them that store \"back-up\" energy that still has to be released. POP! A $20-30 one is all you need. The 260 does not need a UPS, so factor that in.
