I have been looking but I have not found this information. :x ..We use JBL EON15 G2 speakers and we want to add subs to the mix...But before I buy subs I would like to know what subs are in the Database...Are the new JBL 518s in there? I would like to matchup the eons with eons...
SO...I guess my question is:
Is there a list of what subs and or speakers are in the presets?

Thanks :D

From the downloaded PX manual (hint hint), the JBL (I assume you meant PRX) 518s is in there, but you preferred the Eon sub G2.
There are combo presets for both set-ups.

However...As I have said ad nauseam, presets are just a crutch.. a starting point. Nothing special usually, an HPF and LPF for the subs and an HPF for the tops. Pick the best speakers for the job, pick a xover point somewhere between 75 and 120 hz and start with an LR 24 compare the sound of that xover to say a BW48 crossover slope. It is simple and quick to try different xover points and types. absolutely no muss, no fuss..and will NOT affect the speakers other than the interaction @ the xover point...Most powered subs have an HPF built in and a limiter, so those things could easily be left to the subs...

These point are all covered in the\" READ ME FIRST BEFORE POSTING\" section...this thread is titled \"HELP! My speakers and amps aren’t in the presets! What now?\"

  • Well the Gulp is for...When you get to be my age(47) and have read through as many manuals as I have (not all music, mostly computer tech books and manuals) the tought of reading throug another makes me Gulp... but I did read through it and it wasn'tthat bad and I foundmost of everything I needed...I am not a music Enginer :( so some of the terms lose me...but I wll catch on. ..thanks for your help...

  • There are JBL EON 518S subs too but these are yet to be added to the database, as are the JBL EON 515.
