Hello to all, yes another question from a newbie...
Any advice or pointers for setting this system up;
Yamaha MG166cx board
dbx231
dbx266xl
dbx223xl
dbx AFS224
BBE482i
Crown XLS 5000 (using with (2) Peavey 215 tops/mains)
Mackie FR 2500 (using with (2) Peavey 118 subs)
Mackie FR 1400 (will be used for monitors)
what would would be the suggested signal path/flow?
Can the Crown be used in mono? the switch on back syas dual and mono-bridged, I dont wanna bridge it just run it two way mono. Is that possable? And if so how would the 223xl be configured and how would the outs on the rear be connected to the power amps?
I assume the 224 would be used for the monitors right?
Any advice from experts?
Thanks guys

Or
Blow up the BBE (or use it as an effect)
mixer-224 (or insert it in the master out loop)-231-223xl -amps
Yes you can run the 5000 \"dual\" but you would need a \"Y\" cable to feed the signal to both channels from a MONO source.
The 223 is a stereo 2 way or mono 3 way...
You know.. with the 231 run stereo, and the pan controls on the mixer centered, you HAVE a mono setup.. though it's DUAL mono.. it's still mono...and that would solve your LF problem as well...
