Amp attenuator setting represented in wizard?

I think I understand the gain setting process, but I am having trouble understanding the amp setting that appears in the wizard if you select an amp preset, right after you select the amp input sensitivity in the wizard. As I understand it, the DRPA output gain is set only in the crossover settings, so does that mean the amp control setting that appears in the wizard is a “recommended setting for the actual amp attenuator and therefore is somewhat meaningless since we do the gain structure set up anyway? Or does changing this knob in the wizard actually change a setting within the DRPA?

I think your over thinking it ...but you have the right idea.. I think it's best set in the gain structure.. and DAMN the recommendation...ESPECIALLY for 2X3 and up setups...
