rs 232 with vantage systems

has anyone written code for a zone pro 640 to a vatage theater point. Kinda stuck the zone pro see the vantage but i think my code writing my be wrong any ideas

    Hi sturge,

    You should be able to contact Vantage and see what kind of seperators, if any, are required for the strings. Also, find out if they require the strings in decimal or hexadecimal format. From there you should be able to download the appropriate string calculator which can be used to generate the strings needed to input into the third party controller.
