Limiter/compressor

Hi,

I'm using the DBX PX for a while now, and i'm quite satisfied with it.

I have setup the limiter, and that is working quite right now.

But still i am wondering if i can get some more out of the PX if i use the compressor option.

I use the PX with a Dynacord XA-2 set, only for DJ'ing, no live music.
(the dynacord set has his own x-over builtin his amps, so i send a full signal to the amps)

If the compressor is good to use, what settings should i try/look for? I read the manual and some stuff on internet about compressors, but i'm not sure what settings i should use.

Are you wanting to remove the dynamics of the music and make it all loud all the time? Neither are a good idea. Musically or speaker damage potential.

If you do, minimal, minimal, minimal.
