Go to the DBX site and their Forum and ask your question, There are some guidlines to follow. There are a couple of folks on there that will really help you out. Gadget and DRA to mention a couple.

I suggest contacting EV to see what they have to say.
I think from what I have learned with my DRPA that you will find a lot more improvments in your system if you start to use some of the the other features like the PEQ. Its kind of like useing a razor instead of a hammer to fix eq issues. If you have a 260, hook up a computer and you will be amazed at what you can do.
Are you just crossing the subs and letting the passives work in the top boxes?
Maybe Aux feed subs would help you?
