Ok, as instructed i have read all the READ ME FIRST etc. But have a few questions requarding new PA+ unit which i dont see to many posts for. Any help would be appreciated....

Will the wizard be able to guide me thru setting up a 2x4 config for

1 Allan & Heath GL2200

2 Macke 1232z cabinets

Tri-Amplified, with independent 1100W RMS low-frequency, 100W RMS mid-frequency, and 100W RMS high-frequency amps
Frequency Response: 39Hz to 20kHz
Crossover Points 700 Hz, 3000 Hz, 24 dB/octave

2 Mackie SRS1500 subs

Freq Response 40-120Hz
Xover Freq 120Hz 12dB/octave

or can you recommend xover, and eq settings. This will be for a live band application.

    Hi TommyC

Sorry no one got back to you yet. As far as crossover goes, I would try a 45Hz, BW18 high-pass on the sub. For the xo point between your sub and your mid/high cabinet, try 100Hz, LR24 for both the sub low-pass and the 1232z high-pass. You might try 90Hz for that point as well and see which one you like better.

I don't have any suggestions on EQ without hearing the speakers but Gadget should be along sometime soon with some ideas.

Hey TommyC -- are your speakers listed in the Presets of the Driverack? If they are -- that will be a good starting point. No other EQing will be necessary unless you really want to get into tuning your system in a particular room using the RTA on the DR. Once the DR is set do your EQing from the channel strip on your board. If your speakers aren't listed then you will have to go with \"Custom\" on everything and then follow the procedures in the FAQ section and find the thread on \"Auto EQ\". That will get you started in the right direction. Gadget is off at a music festival right now and will be back around soon.

Then there is another one about setting gain stucture. That will help you alot.

Your specs with have some of the xover points that you may want to start with but I found with my JBL\"S, that I did not care for the factory sttings and ended up with my own.

As long as you dont set it up for 80hz to go to a horn and dont clip anything, you should be able to really expieiment with xover points, delays and as you have been told, Gadget and DRA and a few others on here REALLY know there stuff and will get you where you want to be.
