other than eq's comps gates and lim's. does dbx offer a monitor system processor of any kind.

    I use the 260 for 2 bi, amp monitors, and 4800 for 4 bi amp monitors, and they are AWESOME for that duty...the older 480's are great for that as well, though discontinued...

    i didnt know if dbx offered a similar version of the Ashley Protea monitor processor which i have on the big monitor rig but is not cost effective for three wedge mixes on a cover band. a hard lesson to learn but even though you may have the nice gear, if the venue doesnt pay accordingly then dont bring it.

    You should be able to keep your eyes open and find a used 480 for less than a grand...then you'd have all the bells and whistles...
