Is the extra cost of the PA+ worth it over the original PA for DJ only use.

Well I would have to say that the added features and far easier setup and more accurate and WAAAAYYYY faster auto EQ...make it a winner. If all you need is a tops/subs or bi-amp system controller and noo delay the PX is also a viable option. The DRPA has been discontinued...

    Cool!
I have used mine in my practice space and found it to be very fast to set up, and it always sounds great and the gain before feedback is very good...and that's no easy feat since we set up in the middle and aim the speakers in towards us... so in fact we have a three way system with 1.4 " exit horns and 12" mids and one of those little Fane 15" subs that I have posted in the FAQ section and it gets VERY LOUD...I just took the measurement mic and aimed it up toward the ceiling at about head high and ran the loudest pass the PA+ would let me run. took less than 10 seconds, maybe even less than 5... it was really fast!

The mutes are useful as well.

    Good luck! Rock on!
