PA+ and Mackie SRM450s

Hi and thanks for the information on this site. I still have much reading to do, but an answer to a quick question can definitely steer me in the right direction.
I set-up using JBX112M monitors as mains (no sub) with a QSC RMX2450 amp using the set up wizard and was amazed at the result. The JBLs/QSC are our monitors but I was just experimenting.
I then set-up using the wizard with (powered) Mackie SRM450s as mains (no sub) and again it sounded great. I had expected to have to go in an manually enter some kind of amp settings becasue these are powered speakers but it appears that is not the case. Am I missing something? The unit seems to know just what to do with the Mackies (I thought it only had speaker settings and, again, I had to mess with the amp settings).
Thanks.

Somehow this post slipped through the cracks...The wizard really only give you a basic filter based on the manufacturers specs, unless a bi-amp speaker is what is you have, AND the manufacturer supplies the info for the setup. I have found that the driverack has NEVER failed to make a marked improvement in any setup. But the real benefit lies in proper setup and equalization offered using the measurement mic and setting up a flat preset.
Just last night I set up a 4 bi-amp monitor rig and was truly amazed (for the umpteenth time) at just how wonderful these proprietary monitors sound, and it's all possible due to the driverack.
Thanks for your patience...
