RAMSA Speakers/equipment

these speakers (and their other equipment) aren't that popular, at least here in U.S.
they're made by Panasonic (btw, RAMSA are also used in Olympic games)

we use the older models: Mains ws-a200, and subs ws- forgot the model... both tops and subs are just 12"

(might upgrade to new ws-at300e and ws-at350e subs in the future)

are there presets for drive rack for Ramsa speakers?

I was looking for dedicated WS-SP2A "subwoofer processor" for those speakers which is basically a crossover. and RAMSA WZ-DM35NH "Digital multi processor", but it's almost not possible to find in US.

and another question: is there a comparison chart for all these drive racks? and what's the major difference between DR PA and DR PX? can DR PX be used for passive speakers?

Nope, but fear not that isn't a problem at all...perhaps this will get you on the right path:

BTW there is NOTHING wrong with Ramsa equipment, in fact it is excellent! As for 12" drivers.. I have LABsubs I built with 12" drivers that will run with any speakers in the industry REGARDLESS of price... and were talking speakers the could cost $5000 each...or even much much more!

Are the processor setting available? The problem is, if the manufacturer provides processor setting for a fullrange cab like the ws-a200, it would be like admitting there is a problem with them... and NO ONE is going to do that... you may be able to get settings for the subs, but if you have the measurement mic you most likely won't need them, you can tune them yourself!

The main difference between the DRPA+ (the DRPA is discontinued) and the PX, is the PX has 4 outputs in stead of 6, there is NO delay, and you don't have some other functions... kind of a bare bones DRPA, but it has all the different crossover slopes, and the 3 peq's for the high outs, and 2 peq's for the lows, no mono sum though...

The 260 takes things to a whole new level...

It DOES take the measurement mic to get the full benefit of the driverack though... The FAQ section is chalk full of info...

Last summer, I had a weekly "parks and rec" type gig where I had to use two WSA200 and one unpowered mackie sub per side. I was using a DR260 and didn't have the option of leisurely optimizing the system in my driveway...I had to do it onsite after the setup with limited time. On the plus side, I had several weeks to get it right. I realize this system is different than your system but it is similar and I think my 260 settings would be a good starting point for your system since the area that needed the most love was the mid-bass range of the WSA200. I won't have time to dig these settings up until tomorrow...I would like to send the entire DR260 file and have you open it up in DriveWare so you will have some nice visuals to go along with the numbers. DriveWare is a free program but it is not compatible with DRPA+ or DRPX...it will be just for looking at and copying manually.

    Thank You all!

I love Ramsa sound, especially the tops, I might only eq them in bad rooms. And crossover at about 80hz.
and the subharmonic synth, I hope it won't displace the sub diaphragm :)

No one here is a fan of using a subharmonic synth for an entire mix....they used to be popular to use on individual channels such as floor tom but I haven't seen one spec'd on a tech rider in forever.

I'm unable to attach a .dwp file to a reply in this forum. A .dwp file is the information that DriveWare uses for a specific preset...in your case, for Ramsa's. I would have to email it to you and it would have to be direct...not the email function in this forum. If you are interested in the information, PM me with your email address.
