Driver Rack PA+ VS Maxidrive 3.4+ or Behringer Ultradrive

I am a music fanatic I have 4 JBL JRX115 and 4 TurboSound Subs, One Phonic XP5000 = Crown XLS5000 and 1 Crown XS1200, I just purchased a DBX DriveRack PA+ to replace an ALTO Maxidrive but i don t feel satisfied because i feel that the fidelity and clarity of the Alto sounds better than the DBX is the first time i have an DBX Driverrack and i feel is more easy and with less options than maxidrive maybe i dont know how get the best sound from the PA+
I want hear some comments or opinions about that

Do you have the measurement mic? If your using the auto EQ improperly you can do more harm than good...Have you tried setting up one side of the system outside away from all reflective surfaces, and flattening the response so that you have equal response across the frequency spectrum? If so, have you tried transferring the major auto eq trends to Peq's to minimize the frequency skewing that occurs with major Geq manipulation.

Please be specific with your responses because it's the details that help reveal any holes in your techniques.
