Auto volume and auto eq

Posts: 4 Hi to everybody and sorry in advance for my bad English!
My equipment:
Mackie Onyx 1640
Drive Rack PA+
2 x Mackie SRM450v2
2 x Mackie SWA 1501............I think that should be enough for an audience of max 400 people!
I did the gain structure, set the drpa+ wizard as it tells to me but at the end it seems the volume isn't enough compared to effective capacity of the speakers!
Particularly, in the auto level page and in the auto eq. page I can't set the pink noise at the level i want becouse the DRPA tell me to decrease the level and if i don't decrease the level It don't let me to go to the next page!!!
But the maximum level that is ok for the DRPA wizard seems to be too low!
Is it depending from the level I set on the speaker? (I set the level of all the speaker at +4db and increase-decrease as the auto level tell me to do)
Did I have to set the level highter on the speaker?
Did I have to increase the level in the crossover section of the DRPA+?
At what level must be the signal in the output and in the imput headroom of the DRPA+?

Thanks' for the help!

This is really weird.. I could swear I answered this post already...

Anyway...It's difficult to set the gain structure on powered speakers. Once you have set the gain structure of the other parts of the system, you can then turn the powered speakers up to the level that works (short of clipping)

If you look at the input level meters when you auto eq.. you'll notice that as the clip lights on the inputs corresponds with the "Turn level down" message on the display.. the farther back you get the mic ... the louder you can go on the auto EQ.
