i want to buy a PA+, because : RTA auto eq, compressor and feedback elimination

i have a Behringer dcx2496 at this this time (48db/0 slope, auto delay, sample rate 96khz...)

i do not find in the user manual of the PA+ any info about automatic delay alignment
Pa+ cant do it ?

is it possible to get better slope cut ? in the manual of PA+ the max slope is 24 db/octave.

thanks for your reply.

sorry for my English i talk French

No system I'm aware of does Auto delay alignment.. at ANY price! It has Auto Eq, and balance support.

The DRPA+ has only up to 24dB/octave filters, but the DR260 has 48 dB/octave filters

The 260 also has 2.6 seconds of re-allocatable delay where the DRPA+ is fixed @ 10ms per output.

  • auto alignment with RTA is a good to align phase at any cut frequency with any part at any position in 10 sec ....)
i have it on my cheap Behringer dcx2496
i want to upgrade to a better with driverack Pa+ , but is very important to me to have good alignment, is it a free db .....

how do you calculate your delay alignment phase with PA+ :?:

I just RTFM and sure enough, it has an auto align function. It appears to be designed for longer distances like delay towers and maybe front fill and lip fill. It does not have the features to accurately time align components within a box. That requires a different type of calculation. Fairly impressive at the price point but how accurate is it? If you repeat the same measurement 4 or 5 times, how close are the results?

After more study, it appears that the Behringer dcx2496 is fashioned after the BSS FDS366T Omnidrive....both have 3 in/6 out and the Omnidrive has an "Alignment Assistant" function. I use one all of the time and had no knowledge of this function (not that I would use it). BSS claims you can align components within a box as well as align arrays. If you like the feature set of the Behringer, perhaps an Omnidrive would be the upgrade you are looking for. Wait, I can't say that here! This is a DBX forum. But both DBX and BSS are Harman...perhaps I'm not too far out of line.
