Not sure if it's the same, but there were display problems with the original DRPA tapping on the screen sometimes brought them back.. the problem was a ribbon cable to the display becoming dislodged/loose, cleaning re-seating often fixed the problem. Not sure if any such issue exists with the 600 series , but I will froward this thread to Mike in tech support.

Unfortunately, this does sound like it may be a hardware issue with this display connection. You can try reseating this connection, but if this doesn't solve the problem, unfortunately the unit will need to be serviced.

If that unit was still under warranty opening it would void the warranty would it not?
