Driveware for DR PA+

Will there ever be any software like the DriveWare GUI released for the DR PA+?
Is the usb port just for updates?

    I was a bit nonplussed to find out that in fact there is no plan to create a GUI for the DRPA+.. the port will only be used for updates...UNLESS some third party steps forward and designs one... but I have it on good authority that it IS possible, but dbx will not be doing it.
