Since my speakers are not selectable in the wizard, I would like some advice on settings. I have a DriveRack PA and need a 2x3 Program.

Main Speakers (2):
CARVIN 1584 3-Way Speakers
Frequency Response: 50 Hz to 19 kHz ±3 dB
Useable Low Frequency Bandwidth: 38 Hz (-10 dB)
Power Handling: 400 watts Continuous Program Power
Sensitivity: 100 dB SPL, 1 Watt @ 1 meter
Nominal Impedance: 8½
Crossover Type: C1584 Constant Voltage
BIAMP Support: Yes—Panel Switch
BIAMP Active Crossover Frequency: set to 600Hz

Main Speakers driven with a Crown Powertech 2 AMP:
Stereo: 440 watts into 4 ohms, 320 watts into 8 ohms
Bridged Mono: 965 watts into 8 oms, 680 watts into 16 ohms
Parallel Mono: 955 watts into 2 ohms, 680 watts into 4 Ohms

Subwoofer:
LS1801NA 700W POWERED NEODYMIUM SUBWOOFER
Power: 700w continuous, 1400w peak
4 ohms
selectable 80 Hz and 120 Hz crossover point
level control
internal active limiter
18db/octave low cut filter

Looking for advice on crossover frequencies, filter types, slopes, delay, PEQ settings.I am a novice at this (drummer learning PA), so please excuse my inexperience. We are just adding the sub, previously we just ran 2x2 Full-range.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Terry

    Terry,
The short of it... set up a 2x3 in the wizard select all "custom" speakers and amps...set the HPF for the sub at 30hz BW18 set the lpf to 118hz LR24 (you will need to set the sub switch @ 120hz

    For the tops 118hz LR24

No idea on PEQ/s unless you just want to set up some common room problem PEQ's

If you have the Measurement mic you can try and do an outdoor auto EQ pass to try and flatten the response.

  • Gadget,

From one Minnesotan to another - many thanks. I'll play around with it again tonight and see what it sounds like...
