Hi guys, hope everyone is well!
I have recently bought a pair of JBL SRX718S subs to go with my existing JBL SRX725's. I already own the following equipment/amplifiers:
1x Crown XTi 1000
1x Crown XTi 4000
2x QSC RMX2450
1x QSC RMX 1450
DBX DriveRack PA+
I am currently bi-amping the SRX725's. XTi 1000 doing HF, QSC RMX 2450 doing mid per cab.
The QSC RMX 1450 is powering a pair of JBL Eon 1500 which I use as monitors. (Just replaced with some Turbosound Milan MI5 self powered) so amp is now spare.
I ideally want to power the above setup without having to buy another amplifier. I understand that the XTi 4000 probably underpowered for the subs and isnt generally brilliant for sub work. I had thought about bridging it and running both subs from that amp. As it will run 3200w at 4 ohms.
Can anybody advise on the above and suggest an alternative setup. Amplfiers are costing more and more over here in the UK!
Thanks in advance for your time.
