BSS FOH eq or DR eq?

I have a BSS FCS-960 GEQ. I was thinking of putting it in the rack and using it instead of the DRPA or 260 EQ. I recall that the tipping point for using an alternative eq was the quality. What do you guys think of this model? I might return it. It was one of those dumb whim buys. I do like the manual faders for quick tweaking.

OH-I suppose the GEQ in the PA and 260 are of equal quality?

Thanks,
Jim

The FCS960 is a great analog EQ but if I was using a DR260, I would use it's internal EQ and access it through the DriveWare GUI.

The caveat here would be if you have guest engineers deal with... then I'd stick that in and tune the system for me and leave that for them...I find that if the system is tuned properly there really isn't any need to "grab a fader".

Thanks for the response. I still find myself forgetting the sequence for adjusting theDRPA EQ. Dumb, I know. I just don't do it enough to memorize the drill.

Repeated presses of the [EQ] button will toggle you through the EQ's:
The 'H' (look in the upper left hand corner of the display) or high outputs... PEQ's then
The 'M' for Mid outputs, and
    'L' for low outputs..
if you are running stereo, then you will get the GEQ...
If you are running dual mono you will get 'L' or left input GEQ and then 'R' right input GEQ...

it then reverts back to the PEQ sequence again...
