Using mid out for monitors

I would like to use the DRPA to crossover tops/subs, as well as high pass and eq monitors. Can I run mid out to monitor, setup the high/low crossover as I normally would, and set the mid crossover points to high pass/ no low pass?

And it's all written up in a thread in the READ ME FIRST BEFORE POSTING section on the front page of this forum...

You can't have both with one DRPA...

  • I just ran it with a three way crossover, highs high passed at 125, lows band passed at 40-125, and mids highpassed at 85. All in stereo, monitors connected to mids, subs connected to low, mains connected to high. Has a really strange looking crossover graph, but seems to work alright.

DUDE! the idea here is to try and get a SEPARATE GEQ and atuo EQ pass for the tops/subs and the Monitors! In stereo you will NOT get this...

If you want to do this WITH All the benefits... you NEED to follow the thread... you can add to this the "Start here",
121.7 dB monitors and Auto Eq threads to get the most out of this setup.

Otherwise, your on your own here...
