system set up

Ok so I have an old Crown Powerbase 3. since there are no peak lights on this amp what do I do in the gain structure when it comes time for the amp peak light section? This thing only has pots on the back and an off and on light and switch.

HHHHHHHEEEEEEEELPPP need to get my solo system going jobs rolling in.
I also have a QSC GX3 that I COULD USE BUT NOT AS POWERFULL OF COURSE.

Here is what I have going.
Crown PB3 is set stereo.
Yamaha Board left main channel into left Drive Rack Pa original.

DRPA left High out going into right channel of the Crown PB3 out to a set of Yorkville NX35 total (paralleled so 4ohms should be yielding 700w to the NX35 that are rated 350 watts each)

DRPA left Low going left side of Crown PB3 to a set of EV S181'S (paralleled so 4ohms should also be yielding 700 watts to the EV S181'S RATED AT 400 watts each)

Now I could do the Crown PB3 parallel mode 4ohms to the EV S181 subs and hit them with 1050 watts.
Then use one side of the QSC GX3 for my NX35 Yorkville house mains hitting them with 425 watts.
Then the other side of the QSC GX3 hitting my monitors with 425 watts.
Suggestions???ASAP PLEASE

    The GX3 is not bridgeable
The Powerbase is...... ( I know it doesn't SAY so but if it can do 2 ohm stereo... it can also do 4 ohm stereo...)

Set up a 2X3 with all custom settings in the wizard...(stereo tops mono subs) run one speaker wire to each sub from the bridged Crown.

    Load the preset...

Set the HPF for the subs @ 45hz BW18
Set the LPF for the subs @ 118hz LR24

    Set the tops HPF @ 118hz LR24

No real way other than mathematics to determine the clip point but try the gain structure method specified in the "start here" thread...

My guess is the GX will run out of gas FAR before the Power base... thus the setup recommendations.

So run Crown PB3 bridged to the subs speakers would be parrelled since they are 8 ohm each makes it a 4ohm load on the bridged PB3.

and do the QSC GX 3 one side house yorkvilles one side monitors.

    Right?

Then of course run my gain structure with your recomended xover points then I should be able to hit the subs just to match my tops?

No... that's not what I said... but if you don't have an amp for the monitors your gonna be VERY short of power...You should read this thread:

Oh I see stereo the QSC tops only and bridge crown

and I'll get another amp then maybe move the QSC to the monitors and get more power to the Yorks with a new amp

That would be best... otherwise your going to be woefully short of power...

The thread will allow you to use the DRPA for mains (tops and subs in mono) and a single monitor feed...
