Hello,
I'm wondering 'how much' noise is normal that power transformers should emit from the unit itself? I know that I have a sensitive ears, but this one I can hear from above 3 meters. And it is brand new DBX unit. Maybe that is a completely normal?
Maybe they should be totally quiet in operation? My option is to try to fix that annoying transformer sound by removing the transformer from the housing/case and re-bend the fitting(housing) until it no longer emit that annoying "bzzzz" sound or alternatively mod the unit by connecting it directly to 15V adaptor. I'm not sure however how many mW it requires to be driven properly.
I would really appreciate any help.
Regards,
HT
