drpa issue

Does the DRPA require a steady power source i.e. no degradation in the supply in order to maintain?
Here's why I ask, yesterday, the band played for an outdoor party and we had all the gear set up. Amp rack with DRPA was fed by one circuit with a few other draws on the circuit (interior standard house lights - not show related - the guitar cab and a couple of low draw electronics) other pieces of the band were on a seperate circuit. Half way into the first song, sound goes dead out of the subs/mains (we're all on in-ears so we all keep playing till the sound guy walks up and gives the slice across the throat sign). Check the system - FOH is good, has power and signal - check amp rack, amps have power & everything is on EXCEPT, the screen on the drpa is illuminated but has no graphic. Shut the drpa down, refire it up, goes through warm up, graphic comes back, signal is good. Few songs later, same thing. drpa screen is on but blank, not passing signal - shut it down, goes through warm up procedure, graphic is back, now passes signal. Happened a couple more times during the performance. Good thing it was a private party (my family's) or this could have been much more embarrassing than it actually was. This has NEVER happened with the drpa and we've used it for around 100 shows at least.
Now, the power run was at least 60' with a household outdoor extension attached to the house then attached to one of my "band" extension cords (heavy gauge, black), our runs have never been this long and, since our last show, we have installed a Middle Atlantic PDS-615R in the amp rack. Anybody seen this happen with the drpa's in the past? If this is simply a ribbon cable issue (screenwise) would that have a negative effect on the unit passing signal (i.e. preventing signal from being passed)? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I had a similar problem. See link for resolution.

Otherwise there may be an issue with software, or even hardware.. A hard reset will reset back to factory preset... but copy ALL your settings before hand because all user programs will be wiped back to the dinosaurs...and you will have to re-input them...
