I hope this is a good place to get info on this...
I picked up a used 286a in 2009. I use it for voice over only. It's been working pretty well for me, but lately get's a little fuzzy when using the compressor, even very minimally.
I like the simplicity of the 286, and was looking at the newer 286s. Other than having a silver face, have there been any quality upgrades on the inside?
I'd appreciate any advice,
