I have a setup in my bar , I never set the drive rack up but I need to edit it
We currently have no bass speakers as they are getting repaired but the way its been setup the turbosound tops are really pushing mid to high, I want some more bottom end out of them speakers. could I just change to a full range setup profile on the crossover and adjust accordinly ? its a drive rack pa
We used to have 2x tcs-218 subs but they dissapeard. so I have found another one which I can going to purchase

heres the setup

4x txd-151 turbosound tops
1x tcs-218 turbosound sub (waiting on arriving)
4x txd-081
2x tsb-110 mini sub enclosure (the 4x txd-081 connect into these sub enclosures)

amps are

2x mc2 e25 (one for the tops and one for the subs)
2x yamaha 2000 amp (for the sub enclosures and satelliute speakers txd-081 and tsb 110

Now I have set drive racks up before I know what im doing but because I never done the original setup in the bar I do not know what I need to do. I have experienced with sound so I know what im doing just not the greatest on the drive rack!

So do I start a whole new setup ? and have a play about with it all... the limits are always kicking in all the time and I think it can go alot more power, on the crossoever setting its low, mid high is all -5 db

once the subs were there they werent kicking out much power the big ones I want a nice low end kick in the bar

heres a pic of the rack

I am going to make some assumptions. I assume you are running your DRPA two in, four out (stereo subs and stereo mid/highs). I assume you lost your subs but continued to run the system with the low xo point still in place (100Hz?). That would leave the high pass filter of the mid/high pass band at approximately 100Hz........roll that high pass filter down to around 55 or 60Hz and leave it there until you replace the subs in the system. You might run the high pass filter a bit lower than what I suggested but I am leaving a safety factor. This will give your system a little more low end but definitely won't sound like you replaced your subs....it's a temporary solution.

yep its all set up stereo.

I dont know what hz the mid and high are but they are pretty high if I can remember...

yeah so the 4x turbosound tops are punching out all mid to high, the 15" driver has on them is not really pushing much out at all
right so I just edit that in the crossover section of the dbx?
I should have a nice dual 18" turbosound sub land later this week for some real punch but it wouldnt hurt a bit of the tops to punch a bit more low end
    cheers
