HELP!!! Feedback!! Humming, can't get good sound.

So, we have what seems to be a great system on paper and simply can't get a great sound out of it. Here's a list of what we have.
Yamaha EXM5016cf board
Yamaha 100 watt amp
Yorkville LS700 subs
Warfedale NEO 12 inch mains
JBL EON 15 inch monitors
Sennheiser Vocal Mics (E945)
Sure Drum Mics

So we are setting up as follows, coming from the ST out into the Amp, from the Amp to the subs then daisy chained to the mains. The monitors are running from the internal amp on the board from Aux1 and Aux2.
We are getting a lot of feedback, and low end hum. Should we be adding a 31 band EQ to this system?? What about a sound conditioner?? It's frustrating to have this happen knowing that we may simple be setting something up wrong. We have great gear and not great sound. We need help!!

    Greetings,
You really haven't provided enough information for us to be able to pin down the cause of your problem...Please give a full description of the hookup and settings you are using...

I have here a passage from the manual of the LS700P (I assume this is the sub... you didn't specify POWERED) that might be why you are having hum?
For normal operation, connect the LS700P just like an ordinary speaker, along with the Full-Range speakers and set the Input Level switch to SPEAKER. If the audio source does not have a ground pin on the AC cord, the Input Ground switch must be set to GROUND (GND). The LS700P may be plugged in before or after the Full-Range speakers. Use the Left and Right Inputs when using a single LS700P in a stereo system. Use either the Left or the Right inputs when using separate LS700P's for each side (or when used in a Mono system). The LS700P does not alter the signal to the Full-Range speakers, and will not draw any power from the host amplifier driving them. Please note that an external crossover is not necessary.
As well as accommodating the full range speakers, the PARALLEL THRU jacks allow many LS700Ps to be connected in a string (or otherwise in parallel). There is no practical limit to the number of LS700Ps that may be connected together.

So, what position are the switches on the back of the Yorkie in? and exactly how is it hooked up?

The 100 watts for the tops is NOT a lot of power...

So what brought you here? I don't see a single dbx piece in your system?
