Edit preset doesn't work

Hi All
I have an issue in that after i have created a preset i can't edit the main speaker levels from the PX

I can select any of the parameter blocks by pressing the appropiate buttons for example the EQ or compressor buttons
But the manual says that once I have a preset loaded and selected I should be able to hit the Next PG button and step through all of the presets parameters...but when i do this nothing happens at all

Is there someting I am not doing or is there a workaround

regards

    "edit the main speaker levels"?

Do you mean the gains in the filter (x-over) section?

  • No I mean the main speaker levels

I am using jbl prx 625's without subs so I am not using the crossover feature at all

when you create a preset with the wizard the first parameter that comes up is the main speaker level

if you set this too low...like I did...because the rooms are generally really quiet when doing a setup
I just need to tweek that parameter a bit ...I know I can just push the mixer a bit more but I would rather be able to just edit PX so that when I come back to that room I have my levels all ready correct

I don't own a PX. I do own a 260 and a PA. Those are not settings (assuming that you mean the dial with a % reading for "Set your speaker levels here"). They are just indicators. They do not change anything to do with the function or output of the PX. The typical setting for most powered speakers is 12 o'clock, give or take an hour. If you are curious as to what the setting was, just set up another preset.

Also, the settings that the wizard sets up are generally never changable or even viewable. For example, you can never go in and edit you current set-up to add a sub. You have to start a new one.

Navigation on the driverack be it Px, Pa, Pa+, 260, requires use of the <prev and next> buttons as well as the rotary encoder (rotate and press) AND the [function] key, be it [xover] [EQ] [etc]...

Sometimes you need to press the encoder, sometimes you need to turn the encoder, sometimes you need to press the [function] key...to navigate...

Try it... you cannot screw anything up by pressing EVERY button and knob...learn the Nav...
