Using PX with passive sub/amp

I am using two DB Technologies 415s as tops (powered speakers). For a a DJ party we rented a Behringer passive sub/bass amp with an amplifier -- all we could find in our rural area. While running Setup Wizard with two tops and the "sub" I could not get past the level adjustment because of no sound from the sub. Is it impossible to use a passive sub with the PX? The amp had 1/4 inch "passive" and "active" inputs as well as DI xlr input.

yes, the PX has NO idea if the speakers are powered, or amps and speakers. You need to simply select any tops subs preset ans set the HPF and LPF of the tops sub crossover, and set an HPF for the sub...

Don't expect a lot out of that sub... set an HPF of minimum 45 hz BW18.. and I'd set a 100 hz LR24 ...
