cordless microphone

What is wrong with my cordless phone microphone? I have a 5.8 ghz cordless phone and have had it for 2 years with no problems. Now I can hear callers but the cannot hear me. I also do not hear myself on it as you do with full\y working phone.

    Very carefully, remove the 3 screws that hold the handset together. Don't lose them. Now, with a steak or other sharp knife, pop the seals. Gentlely separate the halve. Now, this is important. Don't remove the touch pad. Slowly take the phone to the garbage can and drop it in. Drive to Wal-Mart and buy a new phone. :mrgreen:
