I'm looking to buy a power amp to add subs to my system. I have a driverack pa+. Is there any advantage to buying an amp with a dsp incorporated? It seems to me that I would want a regular power amp and control all of the dsp functions through the dr pa+.

thanks in advance

If the amp has RMS limiting, that would be a benefit. Other-wise it really becomes a matter of budget. Having extra PEQs for top cabs would be beneficial. Maybe for subs.

Na... with the driverack you don't need it... just get the amp that is right for the subs.. or get WAY too much power! Too much power is NEVER enough!
