Questions about Driverack PX w/ 2x Alto Sats + 2x Alto Subs

I just purchased a Driverack PX and had some questions about some of its functions. As the subject states, I'm running the PX with 2 Alto TS115A 15" satellites and 2 Alto TSSUB 18" subs. I've run the auto wizards with no problems, but I have a few questions about the subharmonic function, as well as the limiter and compressor functions. Basically my first question is: Is it safe to use the subharmonic feature? And if so, what levels and percentages would be appropriate for my speakers? I'm also a little confused about the Limiter function. Why are there 2 "pages" for this function, and only 1 for the compressor? I'd also really appreciate if someone could suggest settings for the limiter and compressor (ie. OverEasy level & Threshold level) that would be appropriate for my speakers. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

One last question. I've read that while running the Auto EQ wizard it will produce better results to place the RTF mic on the ground in front of one of the speaker stacks. Is this true? Thanks again for any help!

The compressor is on the input side, so the entire signal is affected. Generally, compression is not used (or advised) for whole systems, but rather individual voices or instruments. If used, it should be VERY slight.
The limiters are for individual outputs. If the sub is over driven, then Hi output is not affected and visa-versa. Primarily designed for speaker protection. (On the other hand compression is designed for speaker distruction. )
