LCD Display problem

Actually, my LCD Display is malfunctioning. It's lit but most of the time I see pixels on it. Regular settings with preset number don't come up. It comes up very rarely. How can I fix it? Is there any easy fix? Thank you.

    If out of warranty, open the case and disconnect the ribbon cable, then reconnect.
