You cannot use 2 driveracks on one system unless you are using one for monitor, or using aux fed subs.

Why? I'm sure you can come up with a senario that will not work with dual DRs but in general, I don't see a problem.

    True.
4-way stereo (no LPF on the high outputs)
    3-way stereo w/ stereo 2-way zone
    Inserted input channel processor
    Side chain processor
    More impressive rack

Im not really sure what some of these configurations are (my bad, not yours) but explain "3-way stereo w/ stereo 2-way zone".....if I am understanding correctly, I don't see a problem using two DRs

High / Mid / Low stereo in one room (DRPA)... High / Low stereo in another room from another output on the mixer(DRPX).

A user of a PX (as marketed) typically would not have a need to operate a PX and a PA from the same console / mixer at the same time.

What physically would stop you from doing it? A timing issue? Would your opinion be stated differently if we were talking about two DRPAs? Or two DR260s?

Let me equate the use of 2 driveracks to this. "I have stereo 3-way analog x-over and a 2-way stereo x-over. I want to use them on my 2 jbl subs, my 2 peavey subs, and my 2 EV tops. I also have 2 stereo GEQs. How can I use everything?"

I'm aware the OP's equipment list is a mismatched mess but two DRs are the least
    of the issues.

I've noticed you have been pretty much solo lately on this forum??

I don't get the point of wanting to use 2.

Yea, kind of lonely round here.
  • The only thing that comes to mind about how I would run 2 DR systems, weather its the PA, or 260 is for Aux fed subs, in a stereo set up. Use one for a stereo tops, and then the other to chop off everything above say 100 or 120hz.
Ive considered doing this and might at some point, unless I can figure out a different way of doing it.
I don't think the time alignment has a long enough delay time to use one of them for a delay tower, or however you might have some kind of speaker system behind the sound board.
