First off I am new to this and so my questions may sound a little simple.
Ok this is my system
2 x Crown XTI 4002 powering 2 x sets of JBL PRX 425, total 4.
Driverack PA2 xover
1 x Crown Macrotech powering 2 x JBL PRX 418s per channel, total 4.
Yamaha o1v96i Mixer
I am sure that power handling for the system is correct and that I am not over or under powering the system.
Can someone tell me what the Xover frequency settings should be for the system, as at low volume whilst testing, I just had the 9000i playing I could hear distorted singing coming from the subs. Im guessing that the frequency upper level is set too high? The driverack is a powerful tool, I have been told that I can download the settings for the PRX 400 series via the software, does this when loaded sort out the Xover frequencies? I just want to make sure that the system is properly set up before increasing volume and providing sound for live bands and DJ, I dont want my speakers to blow!!
