mixing Horn loaded mid boxes with front loaded

Hi
I would like to know if it is a good idea to mix horn loaded mid speaker boxes with front loaded speaker type.
Both of them have JBL 12 2206 speakers. front loaded speakers are srx 725 jbl type and the horn are the SMT 212 type. I am using drive rack 260 3 way.

    Assuming that you a covering different areas, it would be fine. The HF horn is a bigger factor. Any overlap will cause comb filtering.
    If covering the same area, a stereo mix (left & right on each side) would alleviate that problem.

    pardon my ignorance, what is meant by stereo mix (left & right on each side). Are you telling me to place a horn loaded mid box together with a front loaded one and assign one as left and the other right from the mixing? or put all the horn mids on one side and the front loaded one on another?

    1st assumption. One of each speaker type per side.
