the PA2 and wifi

Really tried both googling & surfing....so claim my defeat !
Just setting up a XR18 mixer which also acts as an Accesspoint,
so, means the DriveRack should be able to attach to it....but it doesn't !
My phone can access the XR18,
the front on the Driverack gets no IP though. I suspect (but hope I'm wrong) that the Driverack
doesn't like the fact the wifi network has a password.
But, again, hope that's not the case as using this live, open with not password, seems less optimal.

Will see if we sort out the issue, or maybe my misconception of what should be doable.
(will post conclusion here)

There's either the way to view it as I was wrong...period !
the other would be that maybe the impression given about the PA2 is wrong (at least I got it wrong)
No - the PA2 do not support wireless in any form as such.
IF you attached it via LAN, then if the LAN itself has an accesspoint, then you can using android, iPhone, etc to controll it "wireless".
Must confess I DID think the unit had wireless support of sorts,, which it simply doesn't. So..my mistake.
It will only run wired - period. Then if you have a wireless network and connect the PA2 via LAN cable to either a switch, router or AP, then
off course you will be able to reach it.
