Driverack PA2 with TP-Link TL-MR3040 Access Point Router

So far as I have been able to tell, these portable wireless access points like the TP-Link TL-MR3040 do not work with the DBX Driverack due to not forwarding the DHCP address. I found nothing online, spent a while with DBX Tech Support, over an hour with TP-Link support, and concluded that the device cannot provide the DHCP needed per the DBX tech.

I was hoping that the access point function would grab the wifi at a venue, share it to the Driverack via the cat-5 cable, and then connect with the ipad via the in house wifi or the 3040 wifi. The Driverack seemed to grab the proper IP and MAC addresses, but the rest of the connection process failed.

I ended up gutting my home router for quick plug and play connectivity, giving me an excuse to upgrade to a new dual band router!

Does anyone have a device that can access the in-house wifi, provide the signal to the Driverack, and allow my ipad to control the Driverack while also using the internet? Maybe that is too much to ask?

Thanks,

DJC
